1. Milli Is Not a Bank
Milli is a financial technology company, not a bank, and Milli itself is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC"). FDIC deposit insurance protects depositors only against the failure of an FDIC-insured bank. It does not protect against the failure of Milli or any other non-bank company.
2. Accounts You Connect
When you connect an existing bank account to Milli through Plaid, your funds remain at your bank. Any FDIC insurance coverage on those funds is determined by your bank's status and your deposit relationship with that bank, not by Milli.
3. Milli Tax Vault and Funds Held Through Partners
Milli does not hold customer funds or offer deposit accounts today. If Milli later offers a feature that holds or moves funds, it will be provided through a licensed institution, and the institution's name, any applicable insurance terms, and related disclosures will be provided to you before you enroll. This page will be updated at that time.
4. Products That Are Not Deposits
Any investment, brokerage, or retirement products offered through partners in the future are not FDIC insured, not bank guaranteed, and may lose value. They are not deposits and are not insured by any federal government agency.
